Autographed musical quotation by the famous tenor, undated: "Bologna". Established in the Wagnerian repertoire in Europe and America, he became one of the best Wagnerian singers ever. Sang Lohengrin and Die Meistersinger von Nuremberg sang at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires in 1897, Siegfried at the Teatro alla Scala in 1899, Tannhäuser at the Teatro Colón in 1901, Tristan and Isotta at the Scala in 1901, Das Rheingold, at its Italian premiere, in 1903, The Twilight of the Gods at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna in 1909 and finally Parsifal, in its first complete performance, in 1914. A p. in-8.
