AN AMBER-GLAZED CERAMIC EWER

Standing on a circular foot, the pear-shaped body rising to a spouted mouth, a loop handle from the shoulder of the body to the back section of the mouth, a moulded circular bottom on each side of the mouth, a moulded monkey head on the upper part of the handle, the lower section unglazed, the upper section overall covered with a glaze of amber tone which turns to brown especially on the lower profile of the glaze.
