Vintage 1927/1930 set, celluloid Fountain Pen & Pencil Parker Duofold Laquer-red, Nib P
the set is one of the first examples of Parker Duofold in Permanite (celluloid) placed on the market starting from August 1926. The barrel is marked "GEO.S. PARKER DUOFOLD SPECIAL LUCKY CURVE U.S.A. PAT. 4-25-11" and the pen nib bears the words "PARKER DUOFOLD PEN P". The loading system is the "Botton Filler", carried out by pressing and releasing the metal button located under the black ebonite pad. Length: pen 13.5 cm, pencil 12.8 cm. Item condition grading: **** good, the celluloid is still in good condition and has not been polished, the original gold filled Parker clip and the band on the cap are in good conditions. The pen's barrel bears the words "IDA FRIIS C. 5843.". This is a vintage set, not tested, it seems in good working order but it could need a minor overhauling and/or control before use.
