Michele Pertusi (Parma 1965)

He studied at the Conservatory Arrigo Boito in Parma with Mauro Uberti, majoring in voice and piano. He then followed lessons of Arrigo Pola, Carlo Bergonzi and Rodolfo Celletti. In 1984 he made his debut as Monterone, in Duomo Square in Pistoia, in a version of Rigoletto in a concert conducted by Bruno Bartoletti and, after winning the competition organized by the Teatro Comunale in Modena to choose the cast Ernani, December 13 the same year he starred in his first stage character, Silva. He has performed in the most prestigious Italian and international theaters such as La Scala in Milan, the Teatro Regio in Turin, La Fenice in Venice, the Metropolitan Opera and the Royal Opera House in London, directed among others by Georg Solti, Riccardo Muti , Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta. On television he appeared in the role of Mustafa in The Italian Girl in Algiers played in 2012 under the direction of Paolo Olmi at the Teatro Comunale of Bologna and transmitted by Rai Rai 3 in 2013 and 5 in 2014 and 2016.
