Vladimir Andreevič Atlantov (Leningrado 1939)

Growing up in the environment of opera (his father Andrei Petrovich was a short, his mother Maria Alexandrovna Elizarova was a soprano) studied at the conservatory in Leningrad in 1957. At the Palais Garnier in Paris in 1969 Grigori-Dimitri in Boris Godunov directed by Gennady Rozhdestvensky with Galina Višnevskaja, Archipova Irina and Elena Obraztsova and Vladimir Igorjevich in 1970 in the Prince Igor 'directed by Mstislav Rostropovich with Višnevskaja, the Archipova and Obrazcova. In 1971 he made his debut at the Wiener Staatsoper as Hermann in The Queen of Spades with Obrazcova away in the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow in 1973 at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan as Lenkij in Eugene Onegin with Višnevskaja in the Bolshoi away and 1993 at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York as Canio in Pagliacci with Juan Pons directed by Nello Santi. Portrait autographed photo dated December 4, 1983.
