A carved ivory figural group depicting Pegasus and a snake - probably China, early 20th Century (pre-1947); ; on a wooden base. 14 cm, 5 33/64 in high overall, weight 213 gr. Item condition grading: **** good (minor defect on one paw). Ce.S.Ar. Certificate of Antiquity

Notes

This lot contains ivory/coral/ tortoiseshell. Due to recent changes in the laws of many countries (e.g. US, France) - about endangered species including but not limited to coral, ivory and tortoiseshell - BFA recommends that buyers check with their own government regarding any importation requirements prior to placing a bid. For example, US regulations restrict the import of elephant ivory and prohibit the import of African elephant ivory. Please note that BFAs will not assist buyers with the shipment of this lot into the US. A buyer's inability to export or import these lots cannot justify a delay in payment or sale cancellation
