A Casket with carved bone panels in the style of Baldassare degli Embriachi workshop - Northern Italy, probably assembled in Venice 19th Century; ; panels carved with paired male and female figures. 26 x 15.5 x 27 cm, 10 15/64 x 6 7/64 x 10 5/8 in high, weight 1617 gr. This lot contains ivory/coral/ tortoiseshell. Due to recent changes in the laws of many countries (e.g. US, France) - about endangered species including but not limited to coral, ivory and tortoiseshell - BFA recommends that buyers check with their own government regarding any importation requirements prior to placing a bid.
