English ivory carving - 19th Century

elephant ivory carving (Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758 or Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797) depicting a penis. On the front is the inscription "True love". Velvet case. Height x depth x width 26.5 x 5 x 4 cm. Weight 493 gr. Item condition grading: ***** excellent. Accompanied by Ce.S.Ar. Centro Studi Archeometrici certificate of authenticity (pre-1947).
