elephant ivory (Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758 or Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797) depicting a male and a female figure placed on tapered plinth bases. Height x depth x width 10.8 x 4 x 3.5 cm and 11.2 x 4.3 x 3.6 cm. Weights 121 and 123 gr. Item condition grading: **** good. Accompanied by Ce.S.Ar. Centro Studi Archeometrici certificate of authenticity (pre-1947).
