Italian silver teapot - Naples, 1832-1872

pyriform body resting on claw legs, with "cocciolette" and ribs decoration, the lid with final in the form of a spinning top and wooden handle. Stamped with the mark used by the guild of goldsmiths of Naples for a silver fineness of 833/1000, 1832-1872, assayer Gennaro Mannara, and with the mark of an unidentified silversmith "AR".
Height 18.5 cm, width with handle 23 cm. Weight 846 gr.
Item condition grading: **** good (in need of polishing).
