Beautiful full-length photographic portrait of Richard Strauss, in a formal tuxedo. Photograph at the silver salts, with musical staff accompanied by dedication and autograph signature in black ink "AL CAVALIERE ROUSSEAU ... WIEN, 22 MAI 1922" then general director of the Ministry of War. On the back we find a stamped envelope with the recipient Rousseau, and another handwritten signature by Richard Strauss (Italianized Riccardo). Photo size approx.35x25 cm, frame 51x40 cm.
