Description

Italian silver teapot - Naples, 1832-1872

pyriform body resting on four scroll and foliate feet with "cocciolette" and ribs decoration, the lid with foliate final and wooden handle. Hallmarked by the guild of goldsmiths of Naples for a silver fineness of 833/1000, 1832-1872, assayer Gennaro Mannara, and with the mark of an unidentified silversmith.
Height 22 cm, width with handle 24 cm. Weight 781 g.
Item condition grading: **** good. In need of polishing.
