Dish made in the late fifteenth century and early sixteenth, that kind of decoration, typical of Urbino area, is known as soprabianchi, meaning white on white. On this elegant Majolica, white on white decoration forms a complicated daisy motif bordered by a Robbian leaf streamer di tipo robbiano painted in green and yellow
The plate is to be considered by the studio of Giovanni Antonio di Pietro also known as Malacarne, that made in 1491 Barozzi floor in Padova Vescovado.
