Siege telescope

Extremely rare Small Siege Telescope, model 1917, used by the Italian Royal Army during the First World War. Produced by LA FILOTECNICA - Ing Salmoiraghi. Article 1271. Rack-and-pinion focusing, 30-40-70 three magnification optics, sandblasted painted body in gray-green camouflage color. Complete with wooden transport case, with its own hardware, also painted green gray - In 1877 Angelo Salmoiraghi bought Filotecnica, expanding the factory, up to about 150 workers in 1890. At the beginning of the First World War, the company took the name of Filotecnica Ing. Salmoiraghi S.A. expanding the production, from topographic instruments to mathematical instruments, for drawing, astronomy, meteorology, navigation, obtaining numerous awards at international exhibitions
