Signed on the left side; seals of the carver Kentaro Maeda and of the printer Tetsunosune Honda.

Provenance: Italian private collection, by reputee acquired from a relative of the artist.

Born in France, Paul Jacoulet has lived most of his life in Japan. His prints are made with traditional Ukiyo-e techniques, however used for compositions that are characterized by inspired originality.
