This is one of the six mergers (plus three trials) from the original plaster of 1935, made by Galleria Philippe Daverio of Milan with the permission of the artist's heirs

The plaster of 1935 is published in G. Vianello, N. Stringa, C. Gian Ferrari, Arturo Martini, Catalogo ragionato delle sculture, Neri Pozza, Vincenza 1998, n. 418
