Luis Gomez de Teran aka Gomez was born in Caracas in 1980, he lived in London, Berlin and Rome, where he currently lives. Self-taught artist, his works, delicate and intense, is able to combine a classic style such as the Baroque, with a contemporary language. A lively experimentation that leads the artist to use a curiosity of supports such as canvases, veils and plexiglass. Is in the plexiglass that is focusing through his latest production, a support not totally explored, which allows the artist to create works that go beyond the frontal perspective, between the pictorial lightness and the sculptural material presence. Through its latest production it is possible to investigate the images at 360 degrees, thanks to a modern solution that escapes from the walls and allows to realize the work of innovation, the intuition has been to create refined and innovative structures that can be simply rest on a plane.
