Kings of Macedonia, Tetradrachm in the name of Philip II, Amphipolis, ca. 316-294 BC; AR (g 13,05; mm 25; h 12); Laureate head of Zeus r., Rv. ΦIΛIΠ - ΠOY, youth riding horse r., holding palm-branch; below, torch. Le Rider pl. 47, nn. 17-28 var (control marks); SNG ANS 783-809 (same).
Dark patina, scattered cleaning marks on reverse, extremely fine.
