Description

A series of four photographs in black and white that summarizes with emblematic effectiveness the last political season of Perón, the one break off from death just one year after returning home.

The sequence opens with the click of the abdication: Perón, sick, signs an act of delegation of the presidential functions to the vice president, Mrs. Isabel Martinez, his third wife. The death comes after a few months, July 1, 1974. In the following shots: the State funeral, the funeral procession and the burial of the body in a chapel of the Cemetery of Chacarita in Buenos Aires.
