Lot of two roman intaglios. Composed by: hopper on an ear, carnelian intaglio (three chippings on the edges), 1st-2nd century A.D.; scorpion, agate intaglio (cracked on the surface), anciently used as a protective talisman against poisonous bites. 2nd century A.D.
