7th - 6th century BC; height mm 14; gr 10,57; An amazing scaly snake made through an exquisite granulation technique. Provenance: The Gotha Precious Collection: property of a Swiss Collector; with Oswald Burchard, Zurich, until 1983; formerly part of the M. Hess Collection (Hotel Jura, Basel).
