A roman amethyst intaglio. Eagle. The bird, holding a laurel wreath in its beak, is lying on a pedestal, from which a palm branch comes out. Allegorical composition about victory and supremacy. Ground line. The stone has a light internal crack. Wear marks. 1st - 2nd century A.D.
