FRAME, ROME, 17th CENTURY

Sculpted and gilded wood frame with vegetal motifs of vines, palmettes, leaves and spirals from which flowers bloom. This particular decoration refers to the vegetal frieze of the lower register of the Ara Pacis enclosure.
Inside: cm. 65x46 - Outside: cm. 88x70; Band: 12 cm
