Signed autograph letter containing, among others, the signatures of the baritone Mario Sammarco and the poet Henry Bataille. Campanini in 1903 succeeded his fellow countryman Arturo Toscanini as head conductor at the Teatro alla Scala, where he conducted Das Rheingold with Giuseppe Borgatti and the world premiere of 'Siberia' by Umberto Giordano with Rosina Storchio, Giovanni Zenatello and Antonio Pini-Corsi and in 1904 the world premiere of Madama Butterfly by Giacomo Puccini and Aida with Riccardo Stracciari. Letter dated "3 October 1901". A P. in-8.
