BENIAMINO GIGLI
Recanati 1890 – Roma 1957

Nine photographs with signature and autograph dedication by the tenor who trod the boards of some of the major Italian theaters (Palermo, Naples, Genoa, Catania, Costanzi of Rome), in works such as Manon, Tosca, Mefistofele, La Favorita. In 1917 he began to be signed up abroad (Madrid, Barcelona, Montecarlo, Rio, Buenos Aires) and, after his debut in Milan at the Teatro Lirico in 1918, he debuted at La Scala with Mephistopheles, under the baton of Arturo Toscani. The sizes range from 10x14 to 16x23.
