Twenty-eight letters of which twenty-one typewritten, six handwritten and a handwritten postcard with handwritten signature, written between 1936 and 1939. It is an exchange of letters to decide themes and topics for the International Music Congress of Florence. In addition, the encounter with the composer Emmanuel Bondeville is also discussed: "... In 1947, he was appointed professor of aesthetics at the Paris Conservatory, where he remained until his retirement in 1961, making many contributions to musical theory and criticism, also assisting Igor Stravinsky in writing his "Poetics of Music". In addition to his theoretical works, he wrote and composed various works for the theater, in particular comic operas, developing a bond with film director Jean Grémillon, for whom he composed five soundtracks.
