Description





Three autograph letters, one of which addressed to the great orchestra conductor and musicologist Ottorino Respighi, dated between 1919 and 1930. As an orchestra conductor, he performed in various Italian theaters, including the Fenice of Venice and the Teatro San Carlo in Naples. In those years he collaborated with directors such as Pietro Mascagni and Arturo Toscanini, who in 1925 directed his own composition inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's novel The Devil in the Bell Tower.
