GIOVANNI SALVIUCCI
Roma 1907 – ivi 1937

Two typewritten letters with handwritten signatures, dated 1937, a pupil of Ottorino Respighi at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory, and Alfredo Casella who introduced him to the contemporary and neoclassical language. He died prematurely in 1937. In his letters he worked to organize a performance of his "Serenade" at the Venice Film Festival: “… il M° Corti mi ha comunicato di aver dato incarico ufficiale al Suo Gruppo Strumentale Italiano e al M° Sonzogno di eseguire la mia Serenata al Festival prossimo di Venezia …”. -
