Description

A MAGNIFYING GLASS
Cina, inizio del XX secolo

18 cm

The lens has a circular gilded metal frame decorated with blackthorn’s branches, bamboo and bat motifs. Eight cabochon-shape hard stones are inserted on the frame. The metal handle is covered by a white jade molded like a stylised dragon.

Provenance: Italian private collection.
