Small Cup

Cup with an extroverted rim, light central tapering, very elaborate handle and disc-shaped base.
Majolica painted in polychromy: it presents, under the yellow weave hem, in a very graceful way, a marine landscape "Little angel or Amore with wings clinging to a swan to overcome the dangers of the waves".
H. cm. 6,5; Øb. cm. 7; Øp. Cm. 3,5. Cond: very good.

Castles, Carmine Gentili, 18th century, first decades.
