Miao Paktong ceremonial necklace - HMong north Laos mid 20th Century

from the HMong Village "Luang Pranbang" located in the north of Laos. It presents a lotus flower surrounded by four fishes, one of the Eight Auspicious Symbols, also called Eight Precious Symbols, of Himalayan Buddhism. Weight 405 gr. The Paktong is an alloy of zinc, copper and nickel, closely resembling silver, of Chinese origin. Item condition grading: **** good.
