A LACQUERED AND GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF A LOKAPALA
China, Qing dynasty
The male figure standing with his feet treading on the figure of a demon, dressed in a mighty armor adorned with animal masks on his belly, a band of fabric creeps in scrolls between legs, arms and the back of the neck, on his head a showy hat, the left arm bent with closed fist to support a shaft now lost.
