A MOTHER-OF-PEARL INLAID SMALL LOW TABLE-TRAY
China, Qing dynasty, 19th century



Rectangular section, the tray supported by cabriole legs between which a swirling festoon, on the external surface a delicate decoration with iridescent mother-of-pearl splinters consisting of villages inhabited by figures, amidst pavilions, trees, small birds and a calf.
