AN ANNAMESE CÉLADON-GLAZED DISH
14th century

4,2 x 18,5 cm
Fluted walls and everted rim, the centre of the interior unglazed.

Provenance: Acquired before 1975.
A very similar dish is illustrated in R.M. Brown, The Ceramics of South-East Asia. Their Dating and Identification, Chicago 1988, pl. 11.d; another similar but with a simpler wall is in the Asian Civilisation Museum in Singapore (The Asian Civilisation Museum. A-Z Guide, Singapore 2003, p. 346), another in the Freer Gallery of Art, Washington (inv. n. S2010.4).
