An Italian Grand Tour micromosaic specimen paperweight plaque - second half of 19th Century

cartouche shaped black marble inset with specimen stones. Dimensions 19.8 x 13.9 cm, height 1.5 cm. Weight 864 gr. Item condition grading: **** good (minor chips).
