Miao silver ceremonial necklace - HMong north Laos first half of the 20th Century

from the HMong Village "Luang Pranbang" located in northern Laos, it consists of five semicircles to emphasize the importance of the family of origin. It presents decorations depicting typical local animals (fish, mouse, dragon, panda, cat, phoenix, dog, bull and pig) whose sides are repeated decorations with butterflies. In the main circle, with three fishes pendants, there is a lotus flower. Weight 1245 gr. Low silver alloy. Item condition grading: **** good.
