Sketch of Lions is a beautiful original drawing in pencil on ivory-colored paper, realized in the XXI century by the German artist Wilhelm Lorenz, also known as Willi Lorenz.
A lioness biting her prey, a lioness from the back, two close-ups of a lion, and a profile of a feline are sketched with freshness and amazing realism at the same time.

Wilhelm Lorenz, also known as Willi Lorenz, was a German painter specialized in paintings of animals typically hunted as a game. His highly detailed oil paintings evoke the texture and movement of animals like boars, foxes, buffalos, and lions, depicted in their natural habitats and attitudes. His artworks resemble the works by Max Josef Hänger Lorenz. Willi Lorenz attended the Düsseldorf Academy of Art before moving to Cologne to start his artistic career.
