Roman Marble Relief with Circus Scene, 3rd - 4th century AD; length cm 22; Depicting a race chariots in the Roman circus, in which the charioteer is represented as a Putto with the head turned behind him, looking to his rivals, standing on the chariot in motion. Provenance: Private collection, London, acquired 1960s - 1980s.
