Roman Marble Oscillum with Theatrical Mask, 1st century AD; diam cm 24, height cm 27,5 (with stand), wide cm 2,4; Circular oscillum carved on both sides: on the main one a on-profile female mask from the tragedy with an aquiline nose and a pointed chin; on the rear side, a running rabbit. Both sides are characterized by a smooth edge, slightly lifted. Slightly porous surfaces; provided with plexiglass stand. Provenance: English private collection formed between 1970s and late 1990s.
