Rolex Daytona 6265 First serie in stainless steel “mille righe” pushers circa 1971.

Movement and functions
Manual winding cal. 727. 17 jewels, three registers chronograph.
Case
Stainless steel with screw back case, “mille righe” pushers and calibrated bezel, 37mm.
Dial
Black matte dial with applied baton indexes.
Features
The present watch is from the first batch of the ref 6265, first Daytona ever produced with steel bezel and screw pushers, made in 1971 having retain the serial number 2.788.xxx.
Retaining the sought after “mille righe” pushers due to the flat and fine grooves, during Rolex service they were usually changed with the later version so just few examples arrived today still having them. Case, dial and movement signed.
