Signed on the front with black marker: Andy Warhol Postage stamp endorsed on 13 April 1976 Lot accompanied by authentication of the signature Some specimens are published in the catalog "Andy Warhol Vetrine" by Achille Bonito Oliva, Silvana Editoriale, 2014. A specimen is published in the catalog for the exhibition "Pop Icons", 20 January - 6 February 2015, Galleria Restelliartco, Rome, authorized by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Inc. by SIAE 2015, Publisher Factory Additions (New York). Jefferson's two dollars are very rare, reintroduced in 1976 and gradually released out of circulation. Andy Warhol stamps them April 13, 1976, as 13 cents is the value of the stamp, how many were the States of America at the moment of liberation. The reverse of the two dollars depicts a Trumpull picture of 1816 on the American Declaration of Independence.
