"Hic Cererem tectis Phytalus susceperat heros, Cui primum sacri largita est semina pomi, Quod mortale genus FICVM vocat". Etching and drypoint by Salvator Rosa (1615-1673) printed in Rome, ca 1662. Ceres grateful to Fitalo for the hospitality, gives him a fig tree, unknown by people.
