Roma, map by Johannes Blaeu (1596-1673) taken from the Atlas Atlas Maior printed in Amsterdam between 1662 and 1672, edition with Latin text on the reverse; the map shows on the right the cartouche dedicated to Cardinal Flavio Chigi, nephew of Pope Alexander VII, and the Chigiano coat of arms of the Pope himself on the left. Below the ovals with the 14 Roman districts;
65,5 x 57 cm
very good condition with lightly browned paper with reinforcement on the reverse on the editorial fold and light restorations along the edges; beautiful and lively watercolor coloring throughout the image
