Description

Veuve is an original artwork realized by an Unknown French artist in the middle of the XX Century.

Original china ink and pencil on paper.

The signature, unreadeble, appears on the lower left corner. Titled in china ink on the lower central margin: Venue... Inscripted on the upper right corner in china ink: Mirbeau.

Excellent conditions.

Very fresh, elegant delicate drawing realized in china ink with pencil sketch on paper representing the portrait of two lovers. The work simbolically is titled "Venue" (The Arrival) and indicates the meeting of the two lovers after long time. The dress of the female figure is so elegant and the figure of the man is kissing her peacefully. The whole scene is romantic and inspire a sense of love and calm. The figures and the interior is sketched with black china ink strokes and the volumes are defined also with a light blue pencil.
