Description

Dante Alighieri is an original artwork realized in the first half of the XIX century by Angelo Emilio Lapi. Original burin on paper after Luigi Sabatelli under the direction of R. Morghen.

The episode unfolds on the central margin: the verse of the Divina Commedia with the relative cantica.

Very good conditions. The sheet is glued on cardboard.

Interesting and elegant artwork representing Dante Alighieri with two figures in the background. The episode is from the VI canto of Purgatory.

The artwork was realized by the Italian draftsman and lithographer Angelo Emilio Lapi (Livorno, 1769 - Florence, 1852).
