Diana and Endymion

This painting depicting the myth of Diana and Endymion shows clear influences from Emilia and formal and chromatic solutions inspired by the paintings of Luti and Trevisani, two interpreters in Rome of a stylistic trend in tune with French taste. The atmosphere, the soft drafting of the dough of the cold tones, the glazed appearance, neatness and clarity derived from the works of Ignazio Stern, impregnated by Nordic taste.
