Korea, Goryeo dynasty, 13th century
On the body a solitary and elegant weeping willow with brown enamel on a céladon ground, the curved handle surmounted by a small ring.

The immediate and cursive style of the decoration adapts perfectly to the moved surface of the walls of the body of this ewer, covered with a warm céladon glaze of a subtle intensity.
