A BRONZE MIRROR WITH ITS LACQUERED WOOD CASE, E-KAGAMI

Japan, Meiji period

The mirror with the non-reflective surface decorated in relief with three cranes, a minogame turtle and two large characters, on the left margin the signature 天下一藤原重永 (Tenkaichi Fujiwara Shigenaga), the outer surface of the case lid with a lacquered landscape.
