English sterling silver victorian chocolate pot - London 1890, mark of WALTER & JOHN BARNARD

rocailles stylet, beak-shaped spout attached to the body with foliate decoration and turned wooden side handle. In the center of the hinged lid a small opening covered with a rotating knob for the original, carved wooden whisk. Sterling silver, fully hallmarked London 1890-91, silversmiths Walter & John Barnard.
Height 16.5 cm, base diameter 8 cm, width with handle 18 cm. Weight 350 g.
Item condition grading: **** good.
