IMOLA; 1866.Polychrome terracotta plate.
In the center, within a ragged frame, Beata Vergine del Piratello col Bambino. Embossed crowns and cartouche inserted at the base of the frame with the inscription: B.V.DEL PIRATELLO / 1866.
H. cm. 24 x 32.Cond.: good.The iconography of the Beata Vergine del Piratello, recalling a miraculous appearance of the Madonna on Holy Thursday of 1483, is undoubtedly the most widespread in the devotional ceramic plates produced in Imola since the 18th century.
